Emaar unveils AED 180 billion Dubai Square Mall in Creek Harbour
Emaar has announced a major new addition to Dubai’s retail landscape. Dubai Square, a new mega mall set to rise in Dubai Creek Harbour, will be three times the size of Downtown Dubai.
Backed by an investment of AED 180 billion, the project reflects Emaar’s vision of delivering large-scale, experience-driven developments. Here’s everything we know so far about Dubai’s upcoming mega mall.
About Dubai Square
Dubai’s upcoming mega mall will span 2.6 million sq. m. and is designed as a fully immersive indoor city with expansive, walkable spaces. Connected directly to the future Dubai Creek Tower, the development will integrate dedicated routes for electric vehicles, supporting Dubai’s long-term sustainability vision and enhancing overall mobility within the mall.
AI-Led Planning and Smart Retail Systems
In early 2024, Emaar confirmed the completion of Dubai Square’s detailed design phase. The project integrates advanced digital systems and AI-driven technologies to enhance operational efficiency, optimize spatial layouts, and anticipate evolving visitor behaviors and demands.
Drawing on over 15 years of experience, welcoming more than 100 million visitors annually and working with over 1,500 retail partners, Emaar is channeling its expertise into a new era of intelligent, experience-focused retail development.
Dubai Square stands among the largest mall projects in Dubai. It will become the second-largest shopping and entertainment destination within Dubai Creek Harbour and is currently the largest new mall under development in the UAE.
